Last updated: 8 September 2026
These terms apply to customer work supplied by Fixabit, a trading name of RSBSE Limited, company 07875054, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Station House, 62 Eastoft Road, Crowle, Scunthorpe, England, DN17 4LR. Email: fixabit@rsbse.co.uk.
1. How a Fixabit job works
You submit a request. We assess it and, where suitable, issue a quote describing the scope and price. A contract is formed only when you approve the quote and proceed to payment, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
2. Quotes and payment
Quotes are based on the information available at the time and are valid for the period stated. The total price, including applicable taxes and stated delivery charges, is shown before payment. Payment is processed by Stripe. Fixabit does not store full card details.
3. Custom and technical work
Many Fixabit jobs are bespoke. CAD, reverse-engineering and replacement-part work necessarily involves judgement and tolerances. We will perform the agreed work with reasonable care and skill, but a recreated part may not be identical to an original manufacturer part.
4. Safety-critical and regulated use
Unless expressly agreed in writing after appropriate testing and review, Fixabit work is not certified for safety-critical, medical, life-support, pressure-containing, structural, regulated or other use where failure could create significant risk of injury or damage. You are responsible for telling us the intended use.
5. Customer material and intellectual property
You confirm that you own or have permission to provide and authorise us to work from the files, photographs, measurements, brands and other material you submit. You remain responsible for third-party intellectual-property restrictions relating to your request.
6. Fulfilment partners
Fixabit may use approved subcontractors or specialist fulfilment partners. Fixabit remains your contracting party. We only provide partners with information/files reasonably needed for the work.
7. Delivery and timing
Any target date is an estimate unless we expressly agree it as a fixed deadline. We will tell you about material delays. Physical delivery charges and methods are shown or agreed before the order is finalised.
8. Consumer cancellation rights
If you are a consumer, statutory cancellation rights may apply. They can differ depending on whether the contract involves services, digital content or goods. Bespoke or clearly personalised goods can be treated differently from standard goods. Your statutory rights for faulty goods or services are not affected.
If you ask us to begin a service element before any applicable cancellation period has ended, we will record your express request. If you later cancel where a cancellation right still applies, you may have to pay for service work supplied up to cancellation. If you do not request early performance, we may hold service work until the applicable period has expired.
9. Problems, rework and refunds
If something is wrong, contact us promptly with the job reference and evidence of the problem. We will assess whether repair, rework, replacement or refund is appropriate. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Liability
Nothing excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so. For business customers, subject to those exclusions, our total liability arising from a job is limited to the amount paid for that job unless a different limit is agreed in writing. Consumer rights are unaffected.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
