Fixabit is a trading name of RSBSE Limited (company number 07875054), registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Station House, 62 Eastoft Road, Crowle, Scunthorpe, England, DN17 4LR.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Fixabit, we may collect your name, email address, company and contact details; product, part and technical information; photographs, CAD and other files; measurements; requested output; correspondence; quotes; approval and consent records; order, payment and delivery records; and limited technical/security information used to protect the service.

For Fixabit Trade and Fixabit Network we may also collect business capability, portfolio, equipment, rates, availability, application, account, job-chat, submission and payout information.

2. How and why we use it

We use information to assess requests, prepare quotes, obtain approval, take payment, design or arrange manufacture, route suitable work to approved fulfilment partners, deliver work, provide support, operate partner accounts, administer payouts, prevent fraud and abuse, keep accounting/tax records, resolve disputes and protect legal rights.

Our lawful bases include taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, legal obligations, and consent where we specifically ask for it.

3. Files, photographs and designs

Only submit files and images you own or are authorised to provide. Please avoid including people, addresses, labels, serial numbers or other personal information unless genuinely required. Where a job is fulfilled through the Fixabit Network, we share only the information and files reasonably needed by the selected partner.

4. Who we share information with

We may share necessary information with website hosting, email and IT providers; approved CAD, manufacturing and fulfilment partners; delivery providers; Stripe for payment processing; Trustpilot where our completion email triggers its Automatic Feedback Service; accountants, insurers and professional advisers; and authorities where required by law.

Fixabit does not sell personal information to advertisers.

5. International transfers

Some technology suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires it, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism or safeguard.

6. Retention

• Requests that do not proceed: normally up to 12 months after last contact.
• Quotes, approvals, orders, payments, deliveries, partner transactions, warranties and disputes: normally up to six years, or longer where legally required.
• Uploaded files and photographs: retained with the request/job while needed for assessment, fulfilment, support, dispute handling or legal obligations, then deleted in line with our retention process.
• Security/rate-limit data: only for as long as reasonably required.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No online system is completely secure, so do not send information we do not need.

8. Cookies

Fixabit may use strictly necessary cookies for security, administration and core functions. We will not intentionally use non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking cookies without appropriate information and, where required, consent.

9. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict information, object to certain processing, receive certain information in portable form, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may update this notice when the service, suppliers or law changes. The current version will be published here.
