Fixabit Terms

Fixabit is operated by RSBSE Limited. These terms apply to requests, quotations,
design files and manufactured replacement parts supplied through fixabit.co.uk.

Requests and quotations

Submitting a request does not create an obligation for either party to proceed.
We will assess the supplied information and may request measurements, the
original component or further photographs. A quotation becomes binding only
when accepted in the manner stated and any required payment has been received.

Customer information and permissions

You must provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You confirm that you own the product or are authorised to request the work and
that the request does not knowingly infringe another person’s intellectual
property or other rights.

Bespoke and reproduced components

Reverse-engineered and additively manufactured components may differ from the
original in material, finish, colour, manufacturing method and tolerances.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, components are not certified for
safety-critical, structural, pressure-containing, medical, food-contact,
electrical-insulation or road-legal applications.

You are responsible for ensuring the supplied component is suitable for its
intended use and is installed and tested by a competent person where required.

Digital files

Unless a quotation expressly transfers ownership, digital files are licensed
to the named customer for the agreed use and remain the intellectual property
of RSBSE Limited or the relevant rights holder. Files must not be resold,
shared, published or used for commercial manufacture without written permission.

Catalogue permission

Where you select the optional catalogue permission, Fixabit may list and supply
a generic replacement derived from the engineering work. We will not publish
your name, email, private correspondence or customer photographs as part of
that listing without separate permission.

Delivery, cancellation and returns

Estimated completion and delivery dates are not guaranteed unless expressly
agreed. Bespoke goods and digital content may have different cancellation
rights from standard products. Nothing in these terms removes rights that
cannot legally be excluded under UK consumer law.

Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that,
our responsibility will be limited as stated in the accepted quotation and we
will not be responsible for loss caused by inaccurate measurements, undisclosed
operating conditions, unsuitable installation, modification or use outside the
agreed purpose.
